Murray River International Music Festival The Festival presents a high calibre of Australian and international musicians to audiences in the Murray Darling River region of Victoria in late January 2009. The program presents a package of fine music, outstanding natural and cultural venues along the Murray River, and offerings of regionally produced food and wine. Audiences will revel in the delightful ambiance presented in each of the performances; and music students and teachers alike can take up the rare opportunity to learn from the world-class musicians presented through the program.

The full chorus and orchestra will be led by Australia s exciting conductor BENJAMIN NORTHEY.

Mildura Pacing Cup Carnival Three nights of Harness Racing in one week. Many social events included in the week. Top horses and drivers from throughout Victoria and interstate. Mildura Pacing Cup $50,000, group two event. Harness racing at its best.

Motel Mildura 100 Ski Race Commencing with Dom's Show on Friday morning the next two days see high-powered action on the river. The event's highlight is the ski race, which involves ski boats, towing two skiers, racing from the Mildura Ski Club to Wicketts Sandbar and back, at speeds exceeding 160 kilometres per hour.

Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay The Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay is an event organised specifically to fundraise for health related organisations. A team may register to ride the 520 kilometres from the Murray River (either Mildura, Echuca or Swan Hill) to the Moyne River in Port Fairy but must donate any money raised to a health related organisation of their choice. The event is in its 17th year and now boasts 1650 cyclists and 800 support crew who must complete the course in relay within 24 hours.

- Murray River Paddleboat Cruises: All aboard to cruise the Majestic Murray River on the Paddle Steamer Melbourne, Paddle Vessel Rothbury or Paddleboat Mundoo for a relaxing and tranqil trip encasing the beauty and natural surrounds and reliving the sights and sounds of the pioneer days.
The Paddle Steamer Melbourne conducts a 2 hour trip and cruises through Lock 11, whilst the Rothbury and Mundoo travel to Trentham Estate Winery and Gol Gol Hotel for lunch once a week.

- Mungo National Park: This world heritage listed National Park which is part of the Willandra lakes, is 110km north east of Mildura and is a must see and do trip either by your own vehicle or an organised tour that will pick up and drop off at our park.
Allow a day to visit this unique outback natural beauty which include the Walls of China, shearing quarters and tens of thousands of years of human history.
Organised day tours and self drive tours and are available, weather permitting.

- Australian Inland Botanic Gardens & Sunraysia Farmer's Market: The Australian Inland Botanic Gardens displays a range of Australian natives as well as exotic plantings grouped by region of origin and is also the home of Sunraysia's farmer's market, featuring locally grown fresh produce.
The Market operates every 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month and boasts a scrumptious hearty breakfast from 8am and develops into a wonderful day of fresh country atmosphere.
Self-guided walks are provided as well as tractor/train tours at nominated times during the day
